授業概要 |
This course introduces students to (i) the measurement and structure of the national economy, (ii) basic macroeconomic concepts (e.g., productivity, output & employment, consumption, saving & investment, long-run economic growth, and business cycles), and (iii) a basic framework for macroeconomic analysis. |
授業の到達目標 |
Students completing this course will be familiar with basic macroeconomic concepts/theory and data used by policy makers and researchers. Students completing this course may consider taking Macroeconomics B where more applications of macroeconomic principles and theory introduced in Macroeconomics A will be discussed. |
